Hi just wondering have a small group of fifth years interested in computer science but we are not members of pilot group for LC. I wonder if there is any information about a course that the can do which is on a level 4/5 and they can complete over the next two years... either a Uk qualification or an international bac level course would help us move on. Advice direction is most welcome.

Hi Denis

I teach at a further education college and we run QQ! L5 computer courses.

You may be able to pick a couple of components, depending on how many hours you have.

Let me know if you want to go further and I'll give you any help I can.

Regards

You may find something of use within either the Code Club resources which cover Scratch, HTML/CSS, Python, Raspberry Pi, Sense Hat, Sonic Pi, Micro:Bit and Blender to name but a few languages and all the modules are laid out in a way that each one builds on the previous giving you an pathway of learning. - https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/codeclub

You may also find something of interest within the free Isaac Computer Science online learning platform - https://isaaccomputerscience.org/

You may also find the Astro Pi - Mission Space Lab challenge something worth considering given the duration it runs for -  https://astro-pi.org/missions/space-lab/

We also have at present 19 different FREE online training courses that anyone can avail of that can be found at - https://www.futurelearn.com/search?q=raspberry+pi
