Eir webmail transfer to Gmail

Hi all, I am trying to help a colleague with the transfer of all her emails from eir to Gmail. About 900 out of 2000 have transferred. The rest have not transferred yet. Has anyone else had difficulties & sorted them too?

Use Thunderbird. Works like a dream but it will only do a certain number of the emails before it logs out/fails. So then find where it's got to and set it off again. I just did 11 years worth of email for a friend this way...
