Hello all,

CoderDojo (Navan) needs to buy a new data projector as soon as possible.
Parents have raised the money and we need the projector urgently.

Where does one buy projectors these days?
Are bulb replacements just as costly as they used be?

Any help welcome a.s.a.p.

Hello Seamus,

I recommend you contact Peter McAllister at McAllister Multimedia. He supplies and installs data projectors to schools and colleges. A spare bulb is provided as part of the package.

Hi Seamus,

Data projectors are relatively cheap now and lamp costs in many cases have come down.

However lamp costs vary a lot.

In many (but not all) cases it is a bit like printer consumables (Cheap printer, expensive consumables), the cheapest long throw projector can have very expensive lamps.

Many projectors supplied to education now have 3 year on site manufacturers warranty and 3 year lamp warranty.

Regards
