New lower priced macbook

Interesting new MacBook €600 - not including power supply but I'm guessing generic USB type c laptop chargers will work


Guessing repair costs will still be scary relative to other brands and they are still a pricey option compared to entry level Windows/Chrome but seems a lot more competitive than has been true up to now.

Enough to tempt folk I wonder?

I wonder indeed but at that price point it is half the price of an iPhone!

2 USB-C ports both on the same side - one is USB-2 one is USB-3. As an engineer I would have put one on each side!

Invariably the power socket is on the "other" side of the laptop

They have actually gone with a similar design to previous innovation for the charging port.
