Has anyone tried this? I have just signed up (mostly cos I am curious). It seems interesting. Anyone any experience?

We on the CESI exec have started to use it, when I say use it I mean download it and set it up on our devices. We don't use the EDU version we use the full version. 

Its really nice with a really nice GUI and its user friendly, to be honest using a productivity tool like this was as appealing to me as .... Well it just was't but after a while (after many texts back and forth) I now really like it or should I say I like the idea of it. In saying all that my go to app for this kind of thing is wunderlist (try it) my issue with it is now that it's been bought by Microsoft will they do what they did with Skype and break it.

Slack is really cool; there's a big community (500+) of tech people in
Ireland that gather at http://irishtechcommunity.com/

There's no edtech channel yet, but that could be very easily arranged.
Anyone interested can join in using the link above, or feel free to
contact me off-list for an invite.
