Final call for the IMPACT Scholarship Programme, applications close this Friday, June 5th.
The IMPACT Programme supports maths teachers in creating meaningful, connected learning experiences through the design of Units of Learning, collaboration with colleagues, and engagement with a growing community of practice. Teachers involved in the programme have highlighted the value of sharing ideas with other teachers, exploring innovative approaches to teaching and learning, and having dedicated time to reflect on their practice.
The scholarship programme provides additional in-school support for schools in DEIS settings and areas of disadvantage, helping departments to work together to strengthen students’ experiences of mathematics.
Whether you are interested in developing a Unit of Learning, working towards an IMPACT Badge, helping your school achieve an IMPACT Flag, or simply connecting with other like-minded maths teachers, we would love to welcome you to the programme.
If you have been considering applying or you know of some colleagues who would be interested in the programme, now is the time to do so using the application link below.
Each interested teacher in your school should submit an application with priority given to schools with two or more applications and Dublin DEIS/DEIS adjacent.
If you have any questions about the programme or the application process, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the programme coordinator Eleanor at e.b...@tcd.ie
