Hi,

The EAC Informatics Education has  the “Guidelines for Teaching Informatics: Practical Strategies for European Classrooms” are now officially published in English, see here. This marks an important milestone in our shared efforts to support high-quality informatics education across Europe.

These guidelines are part of a broader package of 4 complementary guidelines addressing key aspects of digital education and digital skills: AI, disinformation, digital education content and informatics. Together, this set of publications aims to support teachers and make digital education smarter, safer, and more empowering.

There were three CESI-listers on the Expert group: Cornelia Connolly, (representing (Association for Teacher Education in Europe)), Keith Quille and myself.  Two Irish projects are mentioned CSInc and the SFI Discover Weave project.

Note: you can replace 'informatics' with 'computer science' when you read through the document.

Hopefully, some of you will find it useful.

Regards,

Monica
