Thanks to Limerick Educate Together Secondary School for opening their library and coffee shop for our use as a TeachMeet venue last weekend. It was an ideal space, and it was a treat to be inside such a beautiful school. (I got a sneak peek into the gym before leaving, where the young women's basketball team were still going full tilt training - on a Friday night? Impressive).

Thanks to Conor Power for the invitation to LETSS, for setting up the space, and sorting the seamless tech we needed ... the host with the most.

Thanks to barrista Kyle for the welcome refreshments at the café on arrival.

Thanks to the nine who volunteered nanopresentations and demonstrations, provoked questions, provided answers - Caroline, Keith, Jennifer, Stephen, Bernie, Helen, Richard, Conor, Mags.

Thanks to all twenty of us who were there - we represented all levels and sectors of education - primary, secondary, management, classroom, FE, HE, teacher training, and industry. As well as the above people we had Pat, Elizabeth, Elaine, John, Victor, Tim, Patrick, Sheila, Sarah-Jayne, Noeleen, and Jon (I repeat, on a Friday night? Impressive).

It was nice to get back to an in-person CESI TeachMeet event. This form of out-of-hours, informal, convivial social meeting is now in its 20th year, and hopefully ready for a few more. I look forward to seeing many of you at future such events; hopefully a few dates will be coming our way this year. I hear rumours ...

On behalf of the CESI Conference TeachMeet Organisers,
Mags
