Draft NCCA LC CS specification - CESI response submission

As part of the public consultation of the draft LC CS specification (attached) due to go into effect in September 2027, CESI, as the TPN for LC CS, will be submitting a response based on the attached template. 

We would welcome suggestions for consideration, both in support or critical of changes. Have you any concerns about concepts added or removed from the spec., any concerns around available resources, need for CPD etc? 

Please remember that we are all free to make individual submissions too using the online form here https://ncca.ie/en/senior-cycle/curriculum-developments/computer-science/ The deadline for submissions is November 26th. 

Kate Molloy (CESI co-chair), Helen O'Kelly and I represented CESI at the recent consultation event in TUS Athlone which proved a good opportunity for discussion.
