Hi All,

As we have purchased new staff laptops we now need to buy a licence for Jolly Phonics for the Whiteboard.

We can't find our old CDs.

Please contact me off list if you supply this (or is buying direct from JollyLearning.co.uk the only option?).

Thanks and regards

Paul

We bought direct from Jolly Learning last year. Had to provide picture evidence of the previous version destroyed but was reasonably priced.

Hi Paul

We have to do the same thing. It's very annoying to have to find the CDs and when I finally did I gave myself a right cut in the process! Bending a CD with one's bare hands is not recommended. For those of you who haven't had the automatic update to Windows 10 yet, this is the reason Jolly Phonics will no longer work. In good news though, it has gone fully online, which is a well overdue change. I don't think there are too many more pieces of educational software left that require a CD. Wordshark is the only one that jumps out at me.

Simon

Hi Simon,

You need to be careful when Wordsharks jump out at you. You could be eaten by a straw semi-colon.

Hi,

Thanks to all for the replies.

Thanks Catherine for the Anima phonics suggestion.  It's something we will look at but we've had a lot of change here this month with IT and everything else.

So, we've paid for the licence directly to JollyLearning.co.uk and I've installed it on the infant teacher and SET laptops this morning.

Paul
