Hi CESI-folk,
Those of you interested in the challenge of increasing female participation in STEM subjects and careers are invited to attend the following event:
On Thursday 30th October we are delighted to be hosting a networking event in Microsoft in Sandyford, Dublin for all those interested in promoting STEM, coding and techie careers in girls.
The keynote speaker will be Kim Wilkens, who created
Tech-Girls in the States, and there will be some IGNITE talks from local speakers as well.
The aim of the event is to give Irish educators, technologists, entrepreneurs and all interested parties a chance to meet, network and discuss this challenging problem.
Food and drink will be served, and please note this is an 18+ event for security reasons.
This is a free event but there a limited tickets.

There is no limit on tickets per person, but first come first served and please relinquish any tickets you don’t need.
When: Thursday October 30th from 6pm to 9pm. Doors open 5:30pm
Where: Microsoft Ireland Atrium (Building 3) Auditorium in Sandyford (right next to Green Line Luas, Sandyford stop), parking available.

Who should attend: Educators, entrepreneurs, technologists, evangelists & anyone interested in promoting STEM education for girls both locally and worldwide. 18+ only as we will be serving alcohol.
