Hi all,

I've been asked to pass on the news that a series of English Language Teaching education and development talks by teachers for teachers is being held in the Teachers Club on the 12th of April, from 10am to 1:30pm. The idea is that these are short talks sharing ideas from language teaching practice.

Topics include ...

- Tools & Tips for Teaching Pronunciation

- Using Meditations in the Classroom

- Effective Out-of-Classroom Activities

- Student Motivation

- Putting Theory into Practice

- Teaching without Textbooks

- Dealing with Regional Englishes

- Teaching Language through Outdoor Activities

- Managing communicative activities with under Tens

This is the inaugural event for ELT Ireland, a network for English Language Teaching professionals. Tickets for the event are €7, but you can get annual membership, which includes access to all ELT Ireland development events for €25.

Although it isn't an educational technology event, it may still be of interest to some CESI members. Follow the links below for more info.
