Good afternoon all,

The Irish Computer Society, in collaboration with The Centre for Excellence in Universal Design have developed a new course on creating accessible documents (MS Word, PPT and PDF) and website content.

We are recruiting a panel of trainers to deliver this course. The course is delivered online using Zoom over two consecutive half days. All course materials are already developed and the target audience is public sector employees. Previous experience is not required but some familiarity with the topic would be an advantage. If you are interested please contact my colleague Liz Mc Carthy -  l...@ics.ie - for further details.

Accessible Digital Content Course Description

The course aims to support those working with digital content, to help them make their content perceivable, operable and usable by the widest range of people possible. The course focuses on the methods needed to create and manage digitally accessible files using MS Word, PowerPoint and PDF.

Thanks,

Linda Keane,

ICS.

Thanks to everyone who responded to this call out for trainers.  We now have enough expressions of interest to form a panel.
Linda.
