I wonder if anyone has a solution to this problem. In my classroom I have a Promethean whiteboard with a Sanyo projector attached to a long arm

The remote control is switching the projector on and off, but the freeze button is not responding so I’m unable to write anything on the board.

Any suggestions as to how to rectify this matter would be much appreciated.

Have you tried fresh batteries? I find a partial failure to respond to commands is sometimes a symptom of low batteries.

Hi Laurence,
I've just taken the batteries from my camera and put them in the remote control and it worked.
Thanks a million for your assistance.

I'm glad it worked for you, we do it all the time with the TV remote and the Wii controlers
All the best
