adobe animate - exporting to mp4 and getting video to loop

Hi all,

I am wondering if somebody might have experience with adobe animate. 

My student needs to export the animation to mp4 so that when it plays in a media player such as vlc or windows media play, it loops continually. They know how to loop within the application.

Thanks Eilish,

Is there a way of holding onto the loop or repeat settings i.e. exporting or saving these so that they loop in another video or media player?

I know how to loop by clicking a repeat/loop in both vlc and windows media player but in the exam they are asked to save it so that it loops automatically when played.

I don't know how to do that in adobe animate but I know you can get VLC etc to play the same video repeatedly if that would help.

Hi Edward,

I think your only option here really is to export as either SWF (Flash) or an animated GIF… both of these will loop automatically when played…

Other than that - the Looping is application-centric in VLC, Windows media player, etc.
