Hi all,

Have you heard of Student2Scientist?

Student2Scientist is a new initiative funded by the Google CS4HS (Computer Science for High School) programme, led by a group of researchers from the School of Physics and School of Education in Trinity.

Our goal is to show secondary school science teachers how programming skills are integral to scientific advancement in many fields. This summer, we will be running a series of workshops that will introduce SCRATCH to both teachers and students that aim to show how concepts and equations found in  science textbooks can be brought to life on a computer screen.

There are three free teacher workshops that will be hosted in Trinity College Dublin this summer. Lunch and supplies will be provided.
