If you're lucky enough to have an iPad and an Epson networked projector, you can now connect and project wirelessly.

Nice. Hopefully Android app to come. It would be great if other projector manufacturers do the same

Don't be put off if you don't see your projector on the list - these
are US model names.

In this part of the world the EB-460i is the Powerlite 460i in the US

Will be testing tomorrow once I hook up the projector to network.

Greg which would you recommend?  This solution could make our life a lot easier next year.  By the way anyone looking for 27 second hand projectors?

I have a few of the interactive Epson models (EB-460i or similar) - I
will test this app with one of them tomorrow (hopefully) and post my
feedback here. The ones I have do not have HDMI, however the EB-475
and later do have 1 x HDMI (direct AppleTV connect).

I could possibly add 10 more second-hand projectors to your 27!

Hey G,

Looking forward to your review on this one. If you get a chance could
you detail how you connect the projector to the network please? Is it
as simple as connecting Cat 5 cable from projector to network point in
classroom and then asking the projector to display its IP address?
Thanks.

Some digging on this reveals that it will only work for the models below that are connecting via wireless rather than that built-in wired LAN port. Strange but true! I need to get hold of the Epson WiFi dongle in order to test the app with the models I have EB-460i and EB-455Wi (some of the newer models probably have wifi built-in) - hopefully will have this next week. In the mean time here is a link to article covering about the topic
