Hello there,

My name is Joanne Hession and I am a coding teacher in Ennistymon Community School.

The following course is running in Dublin but it isn't very accessible to those living outside of Dublin to attend on 5 consecutive Saturdays. Introduction to Python and Electronics Workshop Series

I got in touch with the facilitators and they are open to running it in Clare and I am wondering if you would consider it as part of your programme?

It is so difficult to get in person coding training in the West and since they are open to this opportunity, it would be amazing if you ye could make it happen. Python is also an integral part of Leaving Certificate Computer Science and I think there would be quite a bit of interest.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Joanne

Hi All,

Thanks, Joanne, for sharing the workshop.

It'll be myself and Michael Twomey from Coding Grace running it, and huge thanks to Clare Education Centre for hosting us.

There's still spaces if anyone is interested.

Any questions, let me know.

Hope to see some of you there!

Cheers,
