And for those who don't already know Kate (Katie) Molloy or as I know her secr...@cesi.ie she's ........ 

a Learning Technologist with the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at NUI Galway and is currently the NUI Galway lead on the Irish Universities Association Enhancing Digital Teaching and Learning project. Prior to taking up this role at NUI Galway, Kate had been a secondary English teacher in both the United States and Ireland for over a decade. As a teacher, she became interested in critical pedagogy, inclusivity, and the use of technology. In 2015, she moved into higher education where she supports staff teaching with technology. Her work focuses on the informed and ethical use of technology in higher education, learning design, and open practice. Kate is Secretary, National Executive of the Computers in Education Society of Ireland (CESI), and was a Digital Pedagogy Lab Fellow in 2019. She tweets at @hey_km and she's one of the worlds 'good people'

Looking forward to this one! Really enjoying these interviews, Hasan and John. Joe Molloy's interview was incredible, loved listening to Russell Tarr's way of teaching history to students from opposite ends of a spectrum, and great to hear Joe Dale is still knocking about! Keep it up - It's fantastic work

Thank you so much for your kind words, I must admit working on the Staffroom is a nice break from the norm and I'm loving every minute of it, just a quick heads up but next month is also going to be a good one, it's another Kate, this Kate has been teaching for seven years, she has developed interdisciplinary, community-centered projects & In recent years, Kate and her team have partnered with MIT’s Playful Journey Lab, MakerEd and more about that NEXT month............. BUT that's not all the following month WE have a very special Staffroom with our Very Own Mags Amond and Ewan McIntosh, in this staffroom we chat about Teachmeets & Building the best school in the world so Watch this space, in the meantime here's the links to Kate Molloys Staffroom are below.
