Google play store

Hi all,

TY students need to download MIT app inventor to chromebooks. However they do not seem to have access to the play store when they are logged on using their school email accounts. We are a google workspace school and I am wondering how I can change this to allow access to play store. The chrome books are not managed so unsure as to why access is restricted. Appreciate any help in this matter.

Hey Michelle,

If you go into the admin panel , search for google play and switch it to on for everyone that should allow students access..

I had this issue last year and was told it was because they weren't managed, once we bought the licenses and switched it on in the admin panel it was available.
