Hi All,

Its Tony from Gill & Macmillan here again, while I was working on the
ereader trial I was also working on another project.

Some of you may be familiar with our old testing site my-etest.com.
That site has suffered greatly over the last number of years and
reached a stage where we had just fixed the system when it would go
down again. We have just finished work on a new site etest.ie which is
a free online resource for second level teachers and students.

We call this a Social Learning site as we have blended to gether
aspects from VLEs and social networking sites. It can be used by a
student as a stand alone testing site or can also be used by teachers
to create online groups for their classes, create tests (from scratch
or by copying one of our preloaded tests), share tests that you create
so other teachers can copy them for their own use.

The class group is a social networking type group that allows for you
to assign a test to a class and run reports on the test when taken by
class members.

There are a few minor bugs I am working through at the moment, but all
of the major ones have been rectified. I am making it available to
members of CESI through this group so you may have a chance to look at
it and provide any feedback you want.
