Hi all,

As usual we have a few additional places on our upcoming workshops this year (run alongside our Postgraduate Certificate in 21st Century Teaching and Learning).

We have just announced two sessions:

WorkshopDateTime
Teacher Information Literacy Workshop12/10/20199.30am-5pm
Teacher Problem Solving Workshop12/10/20199.30am-5pm

The Problem Solving in the 21st Century workshop would be more suited to those interested in teaching Leaving Cert Computer Science (LC CS) as it covers some of the computational thinking elements of specification.

We will have more dates announced soon covering; Introduction and Intermediate Programming (via Scratch), Python and Raspberry Pi/Arduino/micro:bit, among others.

All workshops follow the Bridge21 pedagogical model, meaning you will gain experience in an innovative pedagogical approach to help you tackle the LC CS Applied Learning Tasks (as was intended) with your students while also gaining technical knowledge.

For updates you can check here: https://www.tcd.ie/ta21/teachers/CPD/#ALC

All workshops will be help in Trinity College Dublin.

Kind regards,

Jake
