Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and may have a solution that can help us.

We recently purchased a number of Epson Brightlink EB-735Fi smart interactive projectors and have been using them with the built-in Miracast for wireless casting. All of our teachers have Microsoft Surface Pros.

While they work well for slides and slow-moving content, they can become extremely laggy once you play any form of video. The video is pretty much unwatchable.

Attached are some screenshots of our projector settings for reference.

We used to use Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter dongles on older projectors and casting video on these was very smooth. The issue is, in order to use the interactive features of these new projectors, you must use the built-in casting.

If anyone has any suggestions, we would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Kind regards,

Kelan

Not that it helps you - but we had similar lag issues when playing video over wifi to Epson projectors and reverted to hard cabling with HDMI.
