I am aware that a lot of schools don't have tablets yet so I was thinking of starting a program in the Dublin area (first) where we ask schools to sign up and each week we will come to a different primary school, show them our app and leave 2 tablets with the school to use for the week. The app could be really useful for teaching kids starting out on the phonics approach and for resource and language teachers.

Hi Patricia (and other interested Android Users),
I have added ‘Phonics with Phonzy’ to my directory of apps for Irish classrooms at http://android.ict4schools.ie/apps-primary.php
I am delighted to be able to offer this small support to an Irish start-up, particularly where there is also a benefit to our classrooms
If there are other Android App developers on our CESI List, please let me know if I can extend this support to you.
P.S. And I have say that Phonzy works very well too …it even understands my attempts at vowel sounds J
