Hello all from the Micro:bit Educational Foundation

We wanted to extend a warm invitation to all micro:bit expert teachers and leaders across Ireland to apply to join us in our micro:bit Champions volunteer community for 2026. Find out more here:

This is a global community of practice to share micro:bit expertise, teaching ideas and best practice in primary, post-primary settings and beyond. Members will get access to a passionate global network of teachers, researchers and fellow experts, plus resources and top tips from the Foundation on a monthly basis. If you have colleagues who love working and teaching with micro:bit and would benefit from being part of this programme, please do share this with them. Please note the application closes this Sunday 31st Jan.
