The ICT in Education conference takes place on Saturday 18th October on the Thurles campus of the Technological University of the Shannon.  This year we celebrate our 21st birthday and we would love for you to join us.  Our theme is Lifespan Learning and to reflect this we have presentations throughout the day from educators across the spectrum from early years through primary, secondary, third level and further education.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Pam Moran and Ira Socol will no longer be available to deliver the keynote presentation as previously announced, however we are delighted to have Dr Leigh Graves Wolf step in.  Leigh’s keynote will pick up on the themes previously put forward by Pam and Ira on the topic of “Sustaining Humanity in an Artificial Intelligence World”.  Leigh will also share perspectives on the topic of “The Portrait of a Graduate” during a panel discussion with Ashling Sheehan Boyle, Mark Delahunty and Lorraine Hickey facilitated by Dr Conor Galvin.

This year we are including a PhDMeet on Friday 17th October from 2 – 4.30pm.  This session is aimed at doctoral students and we have some slots still available so if you are interested in sharing your research to date please add your details at https://ictedu.ie/conference-25/research-symposium/.

We also have a STEAM evening on the evening of Friday 17th from 7 – 9 pm.  This is an informal session where attendees will learn in a fun and engaging way through maker-based learning.  If you have an activity to share let us know at Submissions 2025 – ICT in Education.

You can find further details of the conference including the schedule, speaker information and booking for the PhDMeet, the STEAM evening and the conference at ICT in Education.
