It was good to see CESI featured in the news section of the Digital Repository of Ireland website this week, as the first batch of our collections archived newsletters, conference materials and other ephemera are make available to the public.
The DRI blog post highlights two records in our collection - the newest is the flier from out recent conference, and the oldest is a lengthy printed newsletter from 1981 which had made its way to a bookseller in the USA.
The first 40 items published show a longitudinal section of CESI activities and CESI people. Over time more will be added to fill in the gaps.
BUT
We can only archive what we can find.
Once more we call out for you to check you own stash of materials in school or at home - any CESI related paperwork you find will be welcome for scanning and uploading. Thanks to those who have send materials already, and to those who will check their own stash and send us / lend us what they find, thanks in advance ;)
