Scratch programming and Numeracy in Senior Primary Classes (NCTE/Lero)

Aimed at teachers of 4^th, 5^th and 6^th classes, this free summer course uses the visual programming language Scratch (a free to download program) to support the mathematics curriculum strands. Participating teachers  will learn to create a project to support the development and assessment of pupils’ mathematical skills. Places on this course can be booked through the network of local education centres.

This looks great Fred! I think I might sign up to one of these. I know how to use Scratch but not sure how effective I am with integrating it into maths, etc.
