I have my Commodore 64 since time began (or so it seems!). Does anyone do anything useful with them or will I just recycle? I haven't looked at it in decades, it's got to go.

Well there's posh. A master 128 while the rest of us struggle with our 16k.
Reminds me of when u had a MorrisMinor. I was getting petrol and this guy strolled over and began looking into it. Mick, he shouts back to his mate, it must be a MarkII- it has a heater.
