Hi all,

CodePlus at the University of Galway have recently launched a new Coding and AI Literacy Project for primary school teachers and children (boys and girls). We attach a flyer if it is something that may be of interest to you!

This coming Thursday, Oct. 16th (and 2 other Thursdays in November) we are delighted to offer a free online AI and Coding workshop for primary school teachers (4.00-5.30 pm).  Any primary teachers interested, please register at tinyurl.com/CodePlusOnlineAI and we'll get back to you with more details.

CodePlus (https://www.codeplusireland.ie/) is a Computer Science (CS) engagement initiative run in collaboration with Trinity College, Dublin, LERO, the SFI Centre for Software at University of Limerick, and the School of Education at the University of Galway. We focus on addressing the gender imbalance in the field by engaging female TY students in CS activities in order to help them make more informed choices about studying CS courses and pursuing careers in the field.

If you've any queries or questions at all please contact either Sarah Porcenaluk (sarah.po...@universityofgalway.ie) or Sally McHugh at (sally....@universityofgalway.ie).

Hoping you can join us on the day!

As a school that worked alongside Sally in the pilot for this programme we cannot commend this highly enough.
