Hi All,

Just wondering does anyone know how to turn off the phone authentication from being necessary for our school Microsoft accounts. My school has a policy that phones must be in the locker. When I bring students to the computer room they often need their phones in order to log in to their account and this is causing hassle and is a waste of time. I have admin access but am not sure how to turn this feature off.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi,
You need an admin to turn it off.
We only use 2FA on our teacher accounts for this very reason.
Hope that helps,
Rob C.
