1-1 Device Adoption and Classroom Management Software

Good morning and seasons greetings to everyone,

I have seen a few questions recently about classroom management software and thought the New Year might present a bit of downtime and an opportunity to share the experiences in my own school. I am IT Coordinator in St. Fintan's High School in Sutton and we are now a couple of years into our 1-1 device rollout of Chromebooks. We have learned a lot from the process and I would be delighted to share those experiences  - purchasing, Google admin management, classroom practices - right the way through to our recent introduction of Yondr puches.

I also have my own company - www.classinsight.ie - which is a channel partner for GoGuardian classroom management software which we use to great effect in St. Fintan's High School. Encompassing high level content filtering and a real-time view of all student screens, I believe GoGuardian is the classroom management software solution that a lot of Irish schools are in need of at the moment.
