Dragon Speak Naturally speech to text programme

Evening everyone, I have been asked by one of our schools to supply Dragon speech to text software for one of their studnts, now I have looked at pricing online and it seems excessive, is there a specific maybe cheaper program suitable for a student, or an Irish company selling this software, any help or advice would be appreciated
