New term writing class

Hello all,

Firstly, I'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year. I hope everybody
had a relaxing holiday.

This term, I will be teaching on a similar writing course to the class
before Christmas. It will be an IELTS writing course for students
looking to enrol at Coventry University, either in September 2012 or
at a later date.

I will again be looking at the area of feedback, and may investigate
the idea of the students keeping a portfolio which they develop over
time.

Have any of you ever tried this technique? Do you have any other
thoughts or ideas on feedback that you would like to share?
