Hi

Just to tell everybody out there I will be arriving in Addis Ababa
Bole
Airport on !5th December and will be there for a week. In addition to
the
induction on Monday and Tuesday (19-20 Dec) I will be giving a lecture
on
16th Dec called 'Ideologies of English as a lingua franca'. Will also
be
conducting a viva exam fo a PhD candidate. It is about self-regulation
in
writing, and may be relevant for readers of this. Will keep you
posted.

In the meantime, maybe I could ask the Coventry people to give me a
summary
of their action research up to now. I will talk about this at the
Induction. We will talk about this on Dec 9th (Friday afternoon).
