I attach the presentation on Responsibilities of team members, which was given in the project induction in Addis Ababa in December 2011.
Please pay particular attention to the responsibility of the team leaders. In this respect, I think it is good that the teams at AAU and HU have
both made arrangements for someone to share team leadership responsibilities. The responsibilities of team leader can be devolved, and it is
of course for each team to make internal arrangements for the conduct of team meetings.
In addition to having regular local meetings of team members, it's important that the whole CESAW group is kept informed of progress and problems,
so that the meeting reports to be posted to this googlegroup should be posted withoout much delay.
I would also like to stress participation in this and/or in the website by everyone. Set yourself individually a target of contributing to either one of these
at least once a month.
The reponsibilities for compiling and sharing relevant research on academic writing in Ethiopia or on particular aspects of writing should I think be shared out among team members, as we are all very busy. Team leaders should be the conduit. I will try to provide a lead for the group as a whole, once I know more about the topics people are pursuing. It is obviously vital to receive this information before the actual AR begins with the commencement of classes.
