Transparency.dev Summit 2026 - Call for Program Chairs

Hi everyone,

We are looking for two Program Chairs to join the team for the 2026 Transparency.dev Summit, which is happening on 29th Sept - 1st Oct in Montreal!

As a program chair, you will be responsible for encouraging and curating much of the content of the event.  Program chair responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with your your co-chair to organise the content for the summit.
• Creating and sending out a Call for Papers (CFP).
• Assembling a program committee to evaluate talk submissions.
• Managing the talk selection process end-to-end.
• Create the conference agenda, including a keynote and breakout sessions.

Last year's program chairs did an incredible job, and have reported that, whilst it is a big chunk of work, being part of the organisational team for the summit was very rewarding.  As a program chair you will have support from both me and them to help guide you through fulfilling your responsibilities.

If you are interested in being a program chair for this year's summit, please let me know (email or slack both work)!  We are hoping to have program chairs chosen very soon, and are looking for people ready to get stuck in right away!
