Hallo! Was soll ich tun??
Tried disconnecting satellites and creating a new SSID with only phones & laptops connected with same result. Tried new cable modem with same result. Restored Eero network and it's back to a workhorse-stable network with the new modem.
Wifi and wired networks drop offline, sometimes every couple of minutes & sometimes every couple of hours. No lights on router & cable modem is still online @ Xfinity.com and its WAN ethernet port still shows a link light. If I don't power cycle, eventually (after 15min or so) router will reboot, flashes white then comes back online. In addition to the above, when satellites were connected (wired and wireless backhaul) the same thing would happen at the router but satellites would also occasionally disconnect, reboot & resync before router eventually reboots.
This doesn't feel like a fully baked product, but if there is some known issue/workaround I'm willing to give it one more try before it goes back -- but my return window clock is running and I'm out of patience. This is not surprising with draft-spec. 1st-to-market products so it's kind of on me for taking the plunge. 802.11ax is mature and tested and I don't really need 802.11be so I guess that's where I'm headed.
If I had to guess, some unhandled exception, error threshold, or race condition is causing kernel lockups and watchdog timer expiration reboots. There is no way to save a debug.htm log before the reboots occur, so I'm skeptical that this is easy to root cause without a JTAG debugger or instrumented firmware.
Correct we are aware of the issue and already have a fix planned to get released soon to everyone. However, is still under going from Quality Assurance testing. If anyone else has similar issues please direct message me and we will get you latest firmware.
Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF? Yes, both satellites were powered off, after factory reset they haven't yet been added back
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices? Both. When I had only two phones and two laptops connected wirelessly, it would occur. LAN crashes at the same time too, no DHCP on etherenet ports. SSID broadcast disappears. This is why is suspect bugcheck/kernel hang.
Don't have any satellites configured right now and, although I'm getting good coverage in the area that formerly needed an Eero satellite, it's still crashing every 30-40 minutes with just the router though.
Since you mentioned Pixel 8, wanted to mention that I see very similar issues while I have either of my family's 2x Pixel 8 Pros connected to our RBE971 / RBE970. Seeing the router crash frequently when either are connected. To temporarily work-around the problem, I enabled the IoT network, limited it to 2.4Ghz / 5Ghz only, and only connect the Pixel 8s to it. Have yet to see a crash for weeks while they are on the IoT network. Something you may want to temporarily try. I Currently have an active case with NetGear about this.
Thanks for that, I'll try quarantining the phone on the IoT network. I disabled wifi on the Pixel 8 yesterday and left it offline and managed 15hrs of uptime. However this morning I reenabled it to check some settings and crashed the router within 5 minutes.
2. A camera issue. Cameras go offline one at a time, but the base station can be rebooted. Rebooting does not fix the issue and the offline cameras have to have their batt cage opened to reboot them and fix it.
I have not factory reset everything just yet due to the fuss involved - I have a strong hunch this is an Arlo head office issue, not a random once-off corruption (aka I strongly feel resetting everything will not fix the issue.
I purchased the system a week or two ago. Very disappointed. The cameras go offline from time to time and they are no being recognized with AC power even when they are plugged. System is not reliable. It is a great deal to get to the camers from my set up. Everytime, Arlo Support wants to do a trouble shoot, I need to get a ladder in order to have access to the cameras. Also, the three second lookback only works to the right side. Objects moving from the left are not recorded until they are at the center of the screen.
there is a big problem with the Base Station going offline and when it comes back, many settings are set back to default or screwed up. It was thought to be just a Time Zone setting issue, but it was uncovered that it is a Base Station SW issue. Please open a case with support.
Open app, tap the 3 dots in upper right, Settings>My Devices, tap on the base station (you may have named it) and at the bottom of the next screen there are 2 black buttons- Restart and Remove Device. Click Restart.
Since the post outlining my solution for my problem, my cameras have remained online. I am not convinced I "fixed" it. Maybe it was good luck? Or maybe the camera patch helped in some way? Your milage may vary.
Same here. I removed my devices to try to reinstall and nothing is working. I thought it was my router, but that is not it. Seems like my problems started when I did not subscribe to paying a monthly fee....hmmmmm I am happy with the 7 days of monitering free. I look at my recordings daily and if anything is unusual, I save it. But I live on a street where there was a murder and I am a female that is home alone a lot. I need these cameras for security. PLEASE fix your problem Arlo!!! I need these (3) cameras that cost a lot of money to work... get your stuff together so that I can feel somewhat safe when the door bell rings or some stranger knocks on my door!
Hi, has there been any luck in finding out what is causing this issue. I have the exact same behaviour. My cameras were working fine, but now they are offline and the only solution I have found is to make a total reset of the system (resetting base station and pairing all cameras again), but this will only make the system work for about a day or so and after that the cameras are offline again. The base station is online and LED is solid blue.
I just bought the system with 3 cameras. I hope your engineering team can have a look at whats causing this and hopefully fix it.
The firmware version for VMB4500r2 is 1.12.2.4_2773.

Star Stable Horses is a fun casual game where you adopt a pony from the several offered to you at the beginning of the game, giving it a great name and taking care of it until it becomes a beautiful adult horse.
Content in Star Stable Horses is organized by tasks you have to complete. These tasks can be checked at any moment by tapping on your journal on the top left corner of the screen. For example, you have to feed the horse all kinds of food, fill its water, brush it, bathe it, give it treats, and more. You also have to train it so it responds well to riders. Each task awards stars that level up your horse. The higher your level, the more tasks you'll have to complete.
