Hello,

Does anyone know if there are DICOM filters written for CERR to export
the DICOM plan information? I am trying to calculate dose on a CERR
patient data-set within a clinical system and require the DICOM RP
file. This file stores the plan information such as number of beams,
energy, MU, MLC field and such. I have verified that this information
is within CERR, I would now like to export this information to a DICOM
file or RTOG file.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcomed.

I take it no one has written this function, thus I ended up writing a
few matlab scripts to write the DICOM RT plan file. Based on my
initial testing, the DICOM plan file was complete enough to be
importing into a clinical TPS. Should anyone else need to export the
DICOM plans from CERR, contact me for the code.

Hi Andrew... This sounds great! Can you share the code with us? If you do
not mind, I will try to test and integrate with CERR so that it gets
distributed with newer CERR releases.

Great. In the coming days, I'll send you what I have. I've excluded a
few DICOM RT Plan sequences, which were unnecessary for my work.
If need be, additional sequences can be added with minimal efforts.

CERR does not have the ability to export RTPLAN. It can export RTDOSE.
