If this is a question about an error or issue you are seeing, please fill out the following fields:

  • Issue Summary: (include links to documentation, and describe what you've tried so far. Do NOT include request or response bodies unless this is from our public sandbox)
  • X-Request-Id or CorrelationId: (from Response or Error Message)

Hi,

There is no way to create your own "Cerner" sandbox - the free public sandbox we provide is what is available/what will behave exactly as our systems in production would behave.

Can you clarify what you're trying to do that requires your own private sandbox? We may be able to help figure out another option.

Hi Jenni,

We have 'hapi' server FHIR API to test CRUD operations on resources like Patient, Communication, CommunicationRequest. You can check it on this URL.
Similarly we want to test CRUD operations on Publicly available open Cerner's sandbox. To achieve this, I have created Cerner's app and tried to test but seems like I cant create instance of Cerner FHIR server. Please advise.

Regards,
Amit G.

Hi Amit,

You can only use our hosted server to test integration with Cerner's implementation of FHIR. Unlike HAPI, Cerner isn't a reference server or open source library for creating a server or client, it's a server we host in production for all our clients.

The documentation is available at https://fhir.cerner.com.

Specifically, each resource calls out the functionality it supports (write access is only available for a few resources), and the URLs are documented on our overview page. Registration of applications is documented on the authorization page.

Regards,
Jenni
