Cerner will be updating our Ignite API Access Agreement Basic Terms and Conditions, effective January 1, 2022.

The main updates cover the below topics and can be found in Sections 9(G) and 9(K) of the Agreement. Please ensure that you read and carefully review the updated Ignite API Access Agreement in its entirety using the link above – do not solely rely on the below overview of the main updates.

  • High-level overview of update to 9(G): Either party may terminate the Agreement for any reason upon written notice to the other party.
  • High-level overview of update to 9(K): Cerner will provide at least 15 days advance notice of any modification through a public forum and reflect therein the effective date of the modification.  You are responsible for regularly reviewing and becoming familiar with any Agreement modifications and your continued use of the Cerner Ignite APIs constitutes your acceptance of any Agreement modification.

No action is needed
No action is needed on your part to accept the updated Ignite API Access Agreement. However, if you do not agree to the updated terms then you can log in to your Cerner code Console account and provide notice to Cerner that you are terminating the Ignite API Access Agreement, after which you must immediately stop using the Cerner Ignite APIs.  Please note, any conflicting terms of a dually-executed API Access Agreement between you and Cerner takes precedence over the forthcoming updated Ignite API Access Agreement.

Thank you,

Cerner Code Support Team
