does anyone have an example or can point me to someplace where i can find a fihr create task example?

Hello,

If you are talking about https://www.hl7.org/fhir/task.html, then that resource is not available to use with Cerner's FHIR implementation.

yeah, that's a problem.  8-(

does cerner have any proprietary APIs that can manage tasks?

None that I'm aware of.

ouch.  thank you for letting us know, it is now clear why we could find any example of how to create a task.  8-(
