App Updates

Hope this is the right place for this question.

Once an app is submitted and validated, how are updates to an app handled? Does the app have to be resubmitted and validated? If so, does the validation process still take 10-14 weeks?

Hi Gerald,

One of the benefits of a SMART application is developers have more control of deploying changes to their applications.  We encourage developers to continue to make enhancements and fixes to their application. Only major changes to the interface or consumption of new FHIR resources would need to be re-validated through the code program.
