We have a hospital interested in our application. They are upgrading to Soarian Clinicals 4.5.100 with SMART on FHIR Application Standalone Launch. We're trying to figure out if our app can be integrated into their workflow like it is for hospitals with Cerner Millenium.
  • Is Soarian Clinicals 4.5.100 with SMART on FHIR Application Standalone Launch for provider-facing apps?
  • If yes:
    • Is an EHR launch possible or coming in the future?
      • If not, can a button/link be added to Soarian to link out to our web app?
    • Looking at the capability statement for the Sorian sandbox, it appears all the resource endpoints are read-only. Is this still the case?
      • If yes, what are ways we can write back to Soarian without requiring the physicians to cut-n-paste? Perhaps HL7 messages?

The major FHIR upgrade for Soarian Clinicals hospitals will be generally available with the 4.5.200 release. This upgrade includes support for FHIR R4 for both consumer and provider apps. Provider apps will be supported in both standalone and EHR launch modes. FHIR support remains read-only. Soarian Clinicals enables systems to update records via HL7 V2 traditional interfaces.
