Patient identifier search - is it exact or fuzzy?

Hi,

When searching patients by identifier, such as https://fhir-ehr-code.cerner.com/r4/ec2458f2-1e24-41c8-b71b-0e701af7583d/Patient?identifier=urn%3Aoid%3A2.16.840.1.113883.6.1000%7C26786, does Cerner do an exact match?

Is it guaranteed that any patient returned from the above URL would have an identifier with the specified system and value?

I'm asking so I know whether I need to filter the search results on my end to filter out anything that isn't an exact match.

Yes, while searching by identifier an exact match would be performed.
