We are making a change to R4 DocumentReference Search action.
As of today, the period search parameter supports dateTimes, both with and without a time component. We will be updating this search parameter to require a time component for all date values. This change is planned to be released by December 17th, 2020.

Note: This change may be breaking change for your use cases, as after this change any search transactions that do not provide a Time component when using period as search parameter will start failing. Please reach out to us if any additional support is required.
