Hi team,

Could someone please define what Cerner means by "client production domain connection for each enrolled app"? Does this mean that if our app were to connect to 3 different hospitals, we would have 3 different client production domains?

This is in regards to the cost of Cerner Code. For provider access apps, there seems to be a fee for optional additional services, but also a $3000 fee per "client production domain connection for each enrolled app." Is this $3000 fee also optional and only apply if one opts in to the optional additional services, are is it prevalent for all apps submitted to Cerner?Using the example above, would this mean the total for for connecting to 3 different hospitals would be $9000?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks,
Sam

Hello Sam,

- Correct!

I would check on the pricing model and revert!

Thanks,
Fenil

Hi Fenil,

Thank you for answering my first question. Greatly appreciated!

In regards to the $3,000 fee, have you yet figured out if it is optional?

Thanks!
Sam

Hello Sam,

The Code Program is an optional program providing value add services such as app validation and app deployment services.  The program consists of 2 fees, a program fee and a service fee(per production domain deployment fee).  The program fee is either $15K for standard tier or $25K for the advanced tier and the service fee is $3K for either tier.   The service fee is based on a production domain instance.  The majority of our clients have a single production domain instance, but our larger health system clients can have multiples.   Once you join the program, these fees aren't optional.

If you'd like more detailed information around the program, I'd be happy to have a call to review the offering.

Thank you,
Josh
