Hi:

Our client which is a hospital is using the Cerner EMR. We have developed an app which need to be connected with the Cerner system. We created the System Accounts according to the tutorial, and registered the app. The type of our application is System. And we have finished the development and validation in the sandbox. Presently, we are planning to arrange to the hospital. Do we need to change the TenantID (ec2458f2-1e24-41c8-b71b-0e701af7583d) of the sandbox to the formal TenantID? Is there any other operation we need to do to connect our application to the hospital client?

Best Regards,
Freya

Based on your post, I assume you are not following the code Program [1] path. In this case, you will need to have the client log an SR ticket to have your app allowlisted in their domain. Typically, they will go through a testing phase in their non-production/certification domain before putting the app in their production domain.

Once the app has been allowlisted in the appropriate domain(s), yes, you will update your discovery URL to https://fhir-ehr.cerner.com/r4/tenant_key/ (or sandboxcerner.com for non-production) where tenant_key is the unique ID of the domain you are integrating with.
