Is there some Demo app with WebBrowser component or Millennium App for Development (or Demo) available where I can test some things before I submit my SMART application to Cerner for validation? I would like to see how it works before I finalize it. Also, some architectural decisions are based on that specific "way to integrate" so it would be helpful...

Is it fair to assume that app is available only for Windows OS? I mean as it uses IE9-11 as "engine".

P.S. I am aware that online sandbox exists and that it can test SMART apps, but that is not I was asking here.

Mihovil

Hi Mihovil,

We currently do not have a demo app using the Microsoft's embedded web browser control available.  You could try to put together a C++/C# app that uses the embedded browser control for your testing.  If you become a paid developer, you'll get access to our Citrix endpoint which you can run your application in a real testing environment.  For now, you can take a look at our documentation and make sure that you app follows the guideline documented in https://fhir.cerner.com/smart/.

For a provider facing application running in the EHR, your app will be rendered using the embedded IE10-11 component rendering engine.  Please make sure your app works in these versions of IE.

Regards,
Kol
