On Update of AllergyIntolerance object - onset can't be reset to empty

Issue: On updating an AllergyIntolerance object I set 'onset' field to None. But after saving, the resultant AllergyIntolerance object still retains the old onset value. Basically on edit of an AllergyIntolerance object, I am not able to reset onset value to empty or None
